Founded in 1984, the International Snowmobile Hall of Fame has recently come to a crossroads of new and exciting challenges. We are no longer located in the World Snowmobile Headquarters in Eagle River and are taking advantage of limited occupancy at Track, Inc. in Monico, WI. This temporary change in venue allows the ISHOF Board of Directors the time needed to seek a new, long term location in or near Eagle River. The International Snowmobile Hall of Fame, known as ISHOF, is a non-profit 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization promoting the recognition of the recreational and historical aspects of the sport of snowmobiling. We support and encourage participation in snowmobiling and other winter activities while advancing education and rider safety. ISHOF continues to recognize achievements in the sport of snowmobiling and the industry it has created. ISHOF is dedicated to recognizing those who have made snowmobiling what it is today. From a leisurely weekend activity to national winter pastime, the sport of snowmobiling is continually growing. From snowmobile trails, weekend attractions and fundraising activities to race competition events, many state, county and local communities continue to add snowmobile-related activities to help enhance this winter sport. Each year, ISHOF recognizes inductees and also special award winners - International Snowmobile Club of the Year, International Dealer of the Year, Edgar Hetteen Memorial Award of Merit and International Groomer of the Year.
